Welcome to the Valley View Elementary Library & STREAM space, where every great project begins with a story! Books serve as the launching pad for hands-on investigation and exploration across our programming. Inspired by literature, students dive into creative art, science, and engineering activities that bring learning to life beyond the page.

Library Hours

  • Monday: 8:45 AM – 3:15 PM

  • Tuesday: 8:45 AM – 3:15 PM

  • Wednesday: 8:45 AM – 1:35 PM (Early Dismissal)

  • Thursday: 8:45 AM – 3:15 PM

  • Friday: 8:45 AM – 3:15 PM

Library Checkout Policies

  • Checkout Limits:

    • Kindergarten & 1st Grade: 1 book at a time

    • 2nd & 3rd Grade: 2 books at a time

    • 4th & 5th Grade: Up to 3 books at a time

  • Loan Period:

    • Books are checked out for 2 weeks.

    • You can renew a book once if no one else has placed a hold on it.

  • Returns:

    • Please return books on or before your designated library class day.

    • Drop returned books in the return bin near the library entrance.

  • Care & Responsibility:

    • Keep books safe in your backpack away from food and liquids.

    • If a book is lost or damaged, please let Mrs. Teasly know as soon as possible so we can arrange for a resolution.
