Kindergarten Registration
Now Enrolling for the 2025-2026 School Year
Ellensburg School District has an Online Enrollment System: To be eligible to enroll in Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 School Year, children must be five (5) years old prior to August 31, 2025.
Please complete the registration for your child by April 4, 2025.
*Current ESD TK & ELC students do not need to register. They will be automatically enrolled in their zoned elementary school. TK and ELC families will be invited to Roundup and are highly encouraged to attend.

Skyward Student Enrollment Portal:
Required Supporting Documentation:
• Proof of Age: A copy of your child’s birth certificate
• Proof of Residence: A list of acceptable documents is provided on the ESD website
• Immunization Record: Up to date Certificate of Immunization or physician signed exemption
*During the Registration process you will have two options: a) you can upload the above required documentation or b) you can bring copies of the required documentation directly to your child’s assigned elementary school.

In preparation for successful transitions into Kindergarten, the District is offering the following important event:
Kindergarten Roundup and Parent Information Meeting
Once your child is registered for Kindergarten, they will receive an invitation to Kindergarten Roundup at their assigned elementary school by May 1st.
During Kindergarten Roundup, parents will gather with building administration for a Kindergarten Parent Meeting and the students will meet with teachers and their peers.
